My oldest son, Braden, celebrated his 12th birthday today! We spent the day at Splash in the Boro waterpark. This year, he opted to skip the birthday present and just take the cash. He's trying to save up for Guitar Hero 4. Braden has also been working this summer mowing a few lawns and working with his dad in our business when the job allows. We're still working the Dave Ramsey budget and trying to teach our boys to plan and budget as well, so...we're encouraging him to start saving NOW for his first car. DID I SAY CAR!!? Only 4 more years and he'll be driving!
