Holden accepted Jesus as his Lord & Savior today!!
This has been a looong process for him. He has talked to three different children's pastors at our church (we have a very large church) over the past 2 years. Each time, they said he wasn't quite ready. He has such a genuine heart, but he was getting stuck on the "making God the boss of your life" part. Well, he's finally got it! This is not to say he is suddenly going to be a perfect child and not get in trouble anymore. But he's sure headed in the right direction!
He's scheduled to be baptized next Sunday at the 11:00 service. We're preparing our cheering section for the big event.
