Oh where can my home study be?

I called the agency handling our home study to check on the status of our update. Last I heard, they were waiting on our GBI report. Come to find out, that came in, however they were waiting on our Child Protective Services report. A month later and no one bothered to contact me! I vaguely remember seeing a form about that, so after searching my pile of documents...there it was. We started updating our documents back in July, but decided to wait a few more months. For some reason, the county sent the form to me, rather than to the agency. I thought it was just a receipt, so I filed it. Meanwhile, this was the form they were waiting for. It would have been nice if I would've know sooner. Anyway, all is in order and the update should be in the mail within a few days. Next, is to update our I-797 form! (Fortunately, we have time as it doesn't expire until May)
