OK, I know this is going to sound a little rediculous, but I was pulling out some weeds the other day. (no, that's not the rediculous part) I have what most people call "double jointed" thumbs where they naturally bend back real far. Anyway, this monster, pokey dandelion was not cooperating, so I kept tugging away. Well, let's just say the dandelion won. I must have really overextended my thumb, because I woke up in the middle of the night with my left thumb throbbing and swullen. I can barely even bend it today!Ouch! So how silly is THAT! Spraining your thumb pulling out weeds!
