Yippee! Whoo Hooo! Aughhh! I'm so excited we just received the call from Melissa that our Referral Acceptance (RA) came in! I will receive the paperwork overnight and we both need to sign it and overnight it back by Wednesday.
The travel approval takes anywhere from 2-6 weeks. The earliest we could travel, pending receipt of TA in 2 weeks, is March 27. Otherwise, we are looking at the first of May. I guess the consulate offices in China are mostly closed in April for some kind of holiday.
OK...start praying for a quick TA so we can travel in March. THEN...pray for a large sum of money to fall in our bank account! We will be scrambling to come up with the remaining funds in the next few weeks. Looks like the tax return won't make it by March, but God will figure something out!
